At Kenwood Academy, “College” is our mission. The Science Department supports this mission by providing students with a comprehensive background in scientific thought and process. We achieve this by providing instruction designed to help students engage in critical thinking and creative problem solving to develop the flexibility of thought they will need in order to cope with continuing changes in the world and to gain an appreciation for discovery.

What’s New/ Events

Judges needed for School Science Fair on Dec 10th!

On December 10th, our students will showcase their original research in the school wide science fair.  We are seeking judges…science teachers, doctors, researchers, health care workers, professors, etc, to help send a select group of students to compete in the Area Science fair.    The event will be held from 9a to 1p.  Please contact kaeasterly@cps.edu if you are interested in judging.
